方巧君于2005年在美国约翰霍普金斯大学医学院获得生物化学博士。2005年至2009年在约翰霍普金斯大学和 Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center 做博士后。2009年被Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center聘为助理研究员,主要从事蛋白结构信息学及基于蛋白组学的系统生物学研究。 2013年加入国家纳米科学中心。研究工作包括:(1)理论模拟内在无序多肽的构象、自组装动力学及淀粉样多肽聚集机制,探索其与生物大分子的互作;(2)纳米孔测序机制。
