张苗，陕西西安人，2010～2013年在长安大学就读硕士学历，2013年考入西安交通大学就读博士学位，2014年与国家纳米科学中心联合培养，课题是锂硫电池材料的制备和性能研究。科研之余和大家一样喜欢追求美好的事物，喜欢味觉上的盛宴，喜欢视觉上的享受，喜欢听觉上的震撼。

杨扬
Yang Yang joined National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST), Chinese Academy of Science (CAS) since August 2012 as an MD-PH.D. student in Physical Chemistry. Dr. Yang Yang won his Ph.D dissertation defense in May 2018. His research interests mainly but not limited in Self-assembly, bioinspired and mimicking materials, structure-property relationships in hierarchical materials, organic conducting and semiconducting materials and devices, tumor immunotherapy, tissue engineering, chemical synthesis and polymerization, natural and artificial polymer, etc. Yang is first author in publications such as Nature communications, Advanced Materials and Macromolecular Rapid Communications. He is also co-author in publications as Journal of American Chemical Society, Advanced Energy Materials and Small, etc. Yang got his bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science and Engineering from Taiyuan University of Technology in July 2012. At present, Dr. Yang is dedicating his career to technology start-up, scientific research and education.

王镇，2014级直博生，山东省泰安市人。2010年至2014年在北京科技大学数理学院本科学习，专业应用物理学，曾参与无机热电与光电功能材料的研究工作。2014年推荐免试进入清华大学化学系与国家纳米科学中心联合培养，指导教师魏志祥研究员和帅志刚教授，从事有机太阳能电池的形貌、机理研究和计算模拟工作。喜欢文学，音乐，摄影等，爱好广泛。

姜兆衍，2014级硕士研究生，出生于吉林省，长大于长春市，毕业于上海同济大学，由于长期的迁徙行为，养成了随遇而安，且略带沉闷的个性，平日追求低调，但偶尔也喜欢做做播音主持等寻找存在感，喜欢健身，更喜欢吃，管得住身体管不住嘴，生来是一个胖子，也将作为一个胖子老去，这就是我，一个拖离不了低级趣味的我。

My name is Muhammad Abdullah Adil and I am from Islamabad, Pakistan. After completing my Bachelor's in Nanoscience and Technology, from Preston Institute of Nanoscience and Technology - PINSAT, Preston University, Islamabad in 2015, I joined the NCNST, UCAS to pursue my Masters under the supervision of Professor Zhixiang Wei. Then later in 2017, due to the exceptional guidance from the superiors and excellent working environment within the research group, along with the easy access to the state of the art research equipment, I decided to prolong my stay in Professor Wei's group and was lucky enough to become the first of few students who were able to secure the prestigious CAS-TWAS scholarship at the NCNST for the MS leading to PhD program. Currently I am working on the fabrication of binary and ternary organic solar cells and their characterization.

Kamran Amin has finished his undergraduate studies from Preston Institute of Nanoscience and Technology (PINSAT), Preston University Islamabad Pakistan IN 2015. In 2016 he was awarded with UCAS Scholarship for MS in National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST), University of Chinese Academy of Sciences Beijing through an MoU between PINSAT and NCNST. At NCNST he joined the Professor Wei Zhixiang lab for his MS research work. Later he won CAS-TWAS fellowship for his PhD in 2018 also at Professor Wei Zhixiang’s group. Under the supervision of professor Wei Zhixiang his research mainly focusses on synthesis of novel material and design and fabrication of flexible devices for energy storage applications. He is also the representative of international students of NCNST. He was awarded with UCAS excellent student of the year award for the year 2018 and NCNST director award for the year 2017 and 2018. He appreciates the support and guidance form the supervisor and lab fellows. Intercultural learning environment at WEI Zhexiang’s lab is an example for others too. In his opinion the friendly environment at our group is the most important thing which enabled us to learn and develop our research abilities according to our own choice without any pressure. That’s why most of the students in the group are graduating with very good research papers.

I am Nawal Ashraf from Pakistan. In 2017, I completed my Bachelors degree in Nano Science and Technology from PINSAT, Preston University, Islamabad. In 2018, I was awarded Roadand Belt Masters Fellow ship and joined National Center of Nano Science and Technology under the supervision of Prof.Zhixiang Wei. I have research experience on the growth of core-shell heterostructure ZnO-Zn Sand Surface Passivation of ZnO nanorods by the growth of ZnS shell during my B.Sresearch work. My Master's research is in the field of Lithium Ion Batteries. I have found NCNST, remarkable for it's research friendly environment. I take pride to be a part of Prof. Zhixiang Wei research group.
